Greetings from Hollywood!

Greetings from Hollywood…Florida that is!  We are here at the 2013 American Fraternal Alliance Annual Meeting at the fabulous Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa. This place is so spectacular, you’d think we were on the set of the latest James Bond flick.

My name is Jon Gadbois and I am the marketing specialist for National Mutual Benefit, a fraternal benefit society headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, and your guest blogger covering all of the details of this wonderful event.

Fraternalists from the United States and Canada have gathered together to network, share ideas, and brush up on the latest industry trends. Thursday night’s welcome reception, sponsored by McGladrey, kicked off the meeting’s festivities with a bustle of energy and excitement.  Vendors lined the halls enlightening meeting attendees with the latest products and services pertinent to those of us in the fraternal insurance industry.  Old friends enjoyed reconnecting, while new acquaintances were quickly formed.

Friday promises to bring exceptional speakers, even more networking opportunities, and an abundance of good times.  Keynote speaker John Maxwell, an internationally renowned leadership expert, coach, and author, will engage and motivate fraternalists to continue their commitment to serve their organizations and members.

I’ll be checking in with you after Friday’s informative program to fill you in on all the happenings, so make sure to check back with us soon.
